What's behind the new name "CIO Mavens"?

 

Today, IT is no longer a luxury, but an absolute business necessity. That’s why, for our clients, the dependency and reliance on a high-performance and adaptable IT partner has never been more important. 


IT can no longer be viewed as a bunch of PCs and servers that could be maintained on a break/fix basis. Instead, IT has been elevated to a high-value business infrastructure, consisting of a well-designed and well-managed internal network that is meshed and coupled with multiple external cloud-based online services (SaaS), enabling companies and organizations to conduct business with their customers and vendors. 


Our clients are asking us to offer them Chief Information Officer (CIO) level guidance and expertise, and show them how they could leverage IT to improve workflow, reduce operational costs and make transformational changes in their companies. This is so they can keep up with the customer/market demands and remain competitive and profitable. 


The recent business challenges such as the tight labor market for attracting and retaining high value employees, cyber security threats and costs, higher interest rates and inflation, has heightened this need to a new record high. Under our new role, as the “CIO Mavens” for our clients, we’ll work closely with their leadership team; offering new, cost saving and differentiating products and services from world-class IT solution providers that will reduce costs and increase efficiency and productivity. 

FAQ

Why is “Premier IT Solutions” changing its name to “CIO Mavens”?

This name change is to better align and reflect what our clients are asking from us. After more than a decade of offering professional IT support, we’ve made this change in order to offer a new IT support model that could be customized to fit and scale with the needs of our clients, as their needs change and evolve. 

Is there an ownership change?

No! CIO Mavens is owned by the same people as Premier IT Solutions. There are also no changes in our day-to-day management!

Will there be service interruptions?

No. Not at all. The change in service will be seamless. No interruptions will occur. 

Will pricing change? Do we need to pay more?

 

The short answer is “No”. We have kept most of our current monthly agreement rates for our existing clients unchanged for the remainder of 2022 and the entire upcoming 2023 year. The good news is that under CIO Mavens service offerings, we’ll be able to offer you new products and services. Please reach out to us, so we can explore these with you on a one-on-one basis.  

As an existing client, you will also have the option to move to a premium agreement at a discounted rate. Our discounted hourly rate to our clients will be $110 per hour, as of January 1st, 2023. Please note that based on the specifics of your agreement terms, our hourly rates may not be applicable to you at all.

Is there anything else we need to be aware of?

If you are on autopay, you will see payment receipts and invoices from CIO Mavens, LLC. If you mail in your payments, please make checks payable to CIO Mavens, LLC. Aside from this, you're good to go!

How do we request support?

For fast service, it's best to request through our support email at support@ciomavens.com. You can also request support through our online portal and through the support icon on your desktop (looks like a blue C). These methods ensure the quickest response.
